The Song Squad - acoustic/electric

The Song Squad is an early concept that I’m working on to showcase original work of my own and other songwriters from the region.

It’s about showcasing songs first and then the people behind them.

I’m building a community of musicians who can offer songwriters the chance to bring individual talent to a group/band/ensemble format and perform their work with the sonic layers offered through a full band. There are plans to perform these compositions in a big end of year showcase on boxing day 2026 at the Royalty Cinema as part of an ambitious Music Event which aims to connect local talent with music lovers and continue to build the music community at Cumbria’s most versatile and striking venue.
